At home I use them to listen to YouTube music on my computer and I go weeks and weeks with out need to recharge. Yes there is an installed battery and so you can not replace it when it does dead, but I have never had it go dead. The shape of QC35 as well as the QC15 are perfect and do not cause feedback. I tired other brands of over the ear headphones but they cause feedback. I have tried over the ear sound cancelling headphones, but then I have to turn off my hearing aids or I pick up all the background sounds and I loose all the high frequencies. Like I mentioned before they do not cause feedback with my hearing aids, the reason that is important is, with out my hearing aids I have absolutely no high frequencies. A nice feature is, it remembers the devices it was connected to so when I turn them on they look for my iPhone, iPad or my Macbook Pro and will pair with which ever device I have the bluetooth turned on. This is the best pair of wireless headphones I could find. I have a pair of QC15 but wanted to go wireless.
They feel good, even wearing for 5 or more hours.

I fly a lot and they eliminate the outside sound so well, I can enjoy a movie on my iPad and just sit back and relax.
I can not speak about sound quality, but what I do know is, the QC35 do not cause feedback and the are super comfortable to wear. I have tried a number of different headphones and found that most of them cause feedback with my hearing aids. First off I should say, I wear hearing aids.
